Transcending the Roles We Play (via Zoom)

  • The Mindfulness Center (Online) United States (map)

“Who would deduce the dragonfly from the larva, the iris from the bud, the lawyer from the infant? ...We are all shape-shifters and magical reinventors. Life is really a plural noun, a caravan of selves.” ~ Diane Ackerman

One of the challenges of the spiritual path is in realizing and shedding the conditioned beliefs and responses that are part of our human experience. The process of shedding often threatens the narratives that shape our lives. This workshop will focus on these narratives, illuminating the roles that we play in life and how our thoughts, beliefs, even language shape that reality. We all play different roles depending upon the situation: Father, Mother, Daughter, Son, Husband, Wife, Teacher, Office Worker, Yogi, Healer, Introvert, Extrovert, Gemini, Libra, and countless others. How do we connect with our authentic self? Join Aurora Hutchinson and James Foulkes as we widen the lens to explore and embrace the process of shifting, reframing and shedding perspectives. Through yoga, meditation and inquiry, you will discover more about yourself and these patterns, and be offered tools to explore coming back to center to rediscover your essential self.

Cost: $100. Join us via Zoom (EST) - Register now.
